The Old Family Gallery
Many an old photograph has wandered away from it’s family origins. Others are in amongst our family photos, but without names to tell us who they might be.
Here is a sampling of old photographs, some with names, others with just the identity of the photographer known. If you can help us identify any of these people, please contact KARA to share what you know about the family and perchance the name of those looking back at us across the years.

This Photograph is labelled Mary Ann Condon and sisters.The girls are Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Matilda, Hannah and Margaret. They were the daughters of James Condon and Elizabeth Doris. Can you help us sort out who is who in this picture?
Here is a photograph taken by William S. Bell, who had a studio in Beaverton in the early 1900s. The name written below the picture is J. Overend.
This is one of Peter’s old photos searching for a family connection. The two women are Mrs. William Wooldridge and her youngest daughter, Mrs. Russell. The daughter was Lillie Giles who married Eli Russell.

Scott & Andrus had a photograph studio in Lindsay, Ontario for some years and later were located in Toronto. This photograph was taken at the Lindsay studio, located on the corner of Kent & William Streets.

A photograph taken by George B. Robson, who had a studio in Petrolia, Ontario in 1898 and 1899. In the town of Petrolia, his location was in the Archer Block. Robson also had a studio in Goderich, Ontario in 1884-1885.
